REGISTRATION FOR THE 2012 SOFTBALL SEASON IS OPEN

Registration for the 2012 season is now open.  Registration is open to girls who will turn 5 on or before March 1st, 2012 up through 9th grade.  The registration deadline is February 5th.  Registration is $60 for 1 child or $80 per family.  No late registrations will be accepted.

The Stillwater Recreation League has been providing recreation level basketball, soccer and softball programs for local children since 1978. We also offer 3 annual scholarships to graduating high school seniors who have participated in the programs and continued to give back to the league on a volunteer basis.  We are always in need volunteers and coaches. Please contact any Program Coordinator or Board Member if interested.

Basketball is available for children in grades 3-8. Registrations are accepted from early September until mid-October. Practice takes place at the Stillwater School gym. The regular season starts approximately the first week of November and runs until mid-March. Games are played on Friday evenings and Saturday mornings. A Basketball Clinic is available for all children in grades K-2. The clinic starts approximately early Feb and runs until mid-March. The clinic is held weeknights at Stillwater School. Spring and fall soccer programs are available for children in Preschool through 8th grade. Registrations are due March 1st for the spring season and August 1st for the fall season. Practices and home games are held at the Stillwater School, Volunteer Field on Middleville Road and Veteran’s Memorial Park on Pond Brook Road. The fall season runs from September through November and the spring season runs from April through June. Games are played on Saturday mornings. Each season consists of 8 games. Softball is also open to all girls K-8th grade. Registrations are accepted during December and January. Practice starts March 15th with the regular season starting the 2nd week of April running until the 2nd week of June. The Home fields for softball are located at Stillwater School and Veteran’s Memorial Park. The Stillwater Rec. Softball Program is proud to have had the honor of being the first organization to use the new softball field at Veteran’s Park, last year, and look forward to many future years of playing there. There is also a pitching clinic offered for the girls held at Stillwater School, usually two days a week.
